Is TLL225-170-FCA compatible with my printer?

Epson TM-L100 has been tested with TLL225-170-FCA by Pony Packaging.

Other potentially compatible printers, based on manufacturer specifications, include the Star Micronics TSP143IV SK and BIXOLON SRP-S200.

These additional models have not been tested with TLL225-170-FCA by Pony Packaging. Compatibility depends on media width, roll diameter, core size, adhesive requirements, and printer configuration.

Can I use these labels in a standard 2 1/4" receipt printer?

No. Standard 2 1/4" thermal receipt printers are not necessarily designed to handle adhesive linerless media. Your printer must specifically support linerless thermal labels to avoid feeding problems, adhesive buildup, or potential printer damage.

What are the roll dimensions and core size?

Each roll is 2 1/4" (57 mm) wide and 170 ft long, with an approximate outer diameter of 3.15" (80 mm) and a 1" (25.4 mm) core inner diameter. Each case contains 12 rolls.

Is the adhesive removable and repositionable?

Yes. TLL225-170-FCA features full-coverage semi-permanent adhesive with removable and repositionable properties. It is suitable for temporary labeling applications, including food packaging and order identification.

Adhesion and removal performance may vary depending on the application surface and conditions. We recommend testing the labels on your intended surface before regular use.

Can I print different label lengths with this roll?

Yes. TLL225-170-FCA uses continuous linerless thermal media, allowing compatible printers to produce variable-length labels based on the printed content and cutter configuration. This makes it suitable for different order sizes and labeling needs.

What is the difference between TLL225-170-FCA and TLL3125-170-FCA?

The main difference is the label width. TLL225-170-FCA is 2 1/4" (57 mm) wide, while TLL3125-170-FCA is 3 1/8" (80 mm) wide.

Both products contain 170 ft per roll, come in 12-roll cases, and use the same full-coverage removable and repositionable adhesive.

The roll outer diameters also differ: approximately 80 mm for TLL225 and 90 mm for TLL3125.

Linerless Label Basics

1. What are linerless labels?

Linerless labels are pressure-sensitive thermal labels made without release liner or backing paper. A special release coating allows the roll to unwind cleanly while keeping the adhesive ready for application.

2. What is the difference between linerless labels and regular labels?

Regular labels must be peeled away from a disposable backing liner. Linerless labels have no backing paper, so they can be printed, cut, and applied directly with less waste and fewer handling steps.
